Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt, to taste
- Water, as needed
Instructions
- Combine the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and cumin in a food processor.
- Pulse until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add salt to taste, and continue to pulse the mixture until it is well combined.
- If the hummus is too thick, add water, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Serve the hummus in a bowl, garnished with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika or parsley.
